VRConsole Privacy Policy

TL;DR (Summary)

VRConsole is a locally-run desktop utility. It does not send your data to any analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking services.

It stores some local session data and settings on your device, encrypted.
VRConsole connects to Patreon, VRChat, GitHub, and Google (if used) to deliver its features, but it never shares your private information with anyone else.
Patreon and VRChat login details are handled via official APIs and never stored in plaintext.
Your data stays local. If you uninstall VRConsole and delete its folder, all stored data is gone.

VRConsole Privacy Policy (Complete)

Scope:

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data VRConsole collects and how it’s used. VRConsole is developed and maintained by The Verified, LLC, an independent software provider. This tool includes agent-based logic and runtime models as described in AGENTS.md and is not affiliated with or endorsed by VRChat Inc. The policy is intended to comply with GDPR, US privacy laws (like CCPA/CPRA), and other relevant regulations.

Data Collected:

VRConsole only collects the minimal data needed to function:

Your Patreon username and membership status (used to determine feature availability based on supporter status)
Data exposed via VRChat’s API (e.g., user ID, display name, world ID, invite permissions) when agents act on your behalf during runtime
Technical info like OS version and VRConsole version (to assist in compatibility and diagnostics)

VRConsole does not request or store unnecessary personal data, payment details, or location data. Data is limited to what is operationally required to provide local agent functionality and verify your access.

Use of Data:

Your data is used solely to:

Authenticate to third-party services (VRChat and Patreon)
Facilitate features powered by on-device agents (e.g., group moderation, bulk invites)
Perform local logging for user-facing diagnostics and agent action traceability

VRConsole does not use or analyze your data for advertising or behavioral profiling. There is no remote analytics pipeline. All AI/agent logic operates locally on your machine using runtime context.

Third-Party Services:

VRConsole interacts only with:

VRChat (to perform actions via its public API using your session)
Patreon (to check your supporter tier via OAuth tokens)
GitHub (to retrieve update info)
Google (to access the Google Drive and Google Sheets APIs, used solely for listing spreadsheets visible to the user and interacting with spreadsheets the user explicitly selects for agent processing)

VRConsole is not a VRChat product and does not transmit data to any entity beyond what you explicitly authorize during runtime operations. Your credentials are only used to log in through the official OAuth/token mechanisms. Google API access is restricted to listing available spreadsheets and performing operations only on the user-specified Google Sheet selected during agent interaction.

Credentials & Security:

Your passwords are never stored. VRConsole uses secure token-based login flows and handles tokens in memory or encrypted local config files. Agent-based operations (e.g. accepting invites, sending messages) are bound to your VRChat session context, initiated on your machine, and use ephemeral state unless persisted explicitly for continuity.

No Data Selling/Sharing:

The Verified, LLC does not sell or share your data. The only "sharing" that occurs is with the platforms you explicitly log into (VRChat and Patreon). All other agent behavior is local and user-directed.

Data Storage & Retention:

All agent state and runtime context resides on your machine unless exported by you. Any logs, configuration files, or authentication tokens remain local and under your control. If you share logs with The Verified, LLC for support, those are handled privately and deleted on request.

GDPR & Rights:

If you’re subject to GDPR or similar laws, you can request access, correction, or deletion of any data held by The Verified, LLC (e.g., support messages or Patreon-linked records). Most of your data resides locally, and we cannot access your VRChat or Patreon data directly. We honor all rights requests to the extent applicable.

California/US Privacy:

We comply with laws like the California Consumer Privacy Act. We don’t sell or profile your data, and you may request to see or delete any information we have (which is typically minimal and voluntary).

Children:

VRConsole is not intended for children under 13. It does not independently verify age or filter content. If you're under 13, you should not use this tool. Agent access is unrestricted by age, and assumes compliance with VRChat's own age policies.

Agent Runtime Context:

Agents run locally, operate only with your explicit instructions, and do not function without an authenticated user session. They are stateless unless configured to persist context. Any cached permissions or group metadata are stored locally, not on The Verified, LLC servers.

Disclaimers:

VRConsole is a standalone companion tool created by The Verified, LLC. It interacts with VRChat’s public API in accordance with their published rate limits and usage guidelines, and is designed to respect VRChat’s Terms of Service.

VRConsole does not monetize, duplicate, or repackage any VRChat content or services. Patreon integration is used solely to acknowledge community support and, when applicable, enable optional preview features within VRConsole itself. Access to VRChat or its features is never gated or altered by this tool.
