VRConsole Terms of Service

Effective Feburary 4, 2026

TL;DR (Summary)

Personal Project, Good Faith:

VRConsole is a third-party utility tool for VRChat, created by a solo developer (The Verified, LLC) in good faith. It’s not an official VRChat product or affiliated with VRChat Inc. Use it responsibly and at your own risk.

Access & Changes:

VRConsole is a personal project offered freely for personal use. The Verified, LLC can change features, limit access, or revoke your use of VRConsole at any time, especially if you break these terms. Some early or experimental features may be previewed by supporters of The Verified, LLC’s work via Patreon, but support is optional and not required.

No Refunds:

Any voluntary contributions (e.g. Patreon support) are non-refundable except as required by Patreon’s rules or applicable law. VRConsole is not a paid service, and access is not sold.

Usage Rules:

Don’t misuse VRConsole. No reverse engineering, tampering, or cheating. Don’t try to break the software or bypass its limits. Follow VRChat’s own Terms of Service and community rules while using VRConsole – you’re responsible for your conduct in VRChat. If you violate any rules, your access may be revoked.

“As-Is” Warranty:

VRConsole is provided “as is.” There’s no guarantee it will work perfectly or meet your expectations. There are no warranties of any kind. Use VRConsole at your own risk.

Support:

Support is best-effort only. The Verified, LLC may respond within a week, but there’s no formal support system or guarantee.

Updates & API Calls:

VRConsole may auto-update and connect to GitHub (for updates), Patreon (for supporter verification), and VRChat (for core functionality). Your login credentials are used only for their intended purpose and not shared.

Account Security:

Your accounts (VRChat, Patreon) are yours to manage. VRConsole doesn’t store your credentials, and you’re responsible for keeping them safe.

Eligibility:

Only use VRConsole if it’s legal in your country and you meet the age and platform requirements (13+ for VRChat, typically 18+ for Patreon).

Dispute Resolution:

Disputes with The Verified, LLC must be resolved via arbitration, not court. No class actions.

By using VRConsole, you agree to all the terms below. Read carefully.

VRConsole Terms of Service (Complete)

1. Acceptance of Terms

This Terms of Service (“Terms”) is a legal agreement between you (the “User” or “you”) and The Verified, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “the Developer”), the creator and owner of VRConsole. By downloading, installing, or using VRConsole in any way, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use VRConsole.

2. Description of the Software

VRConsole is an unofficial, third-party utility tool designed to interact with publicly available aspects of the VRChat platform. It is developed and maintained independently by The Verified, LLC as a personal side project. VRConsole is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially supported by VRChat Inc. This tool is offered freely for personal use, and supporters may optionally back its ongoing development through platforms like Patreon.

3. Changes to Features and Terms

3.1. Modification of Features:

VRConsole is an evolving project. The Verified, LLC may modify, add, or remove features at any time, for any reason. Some early or preview features may be available to supporters of the developer’s ongoing work via Patreon. This is not a purchase or entitlement, but a token of appreciation for voluntary support.

3.2. Changes to Terms:

These Terms may be updated periodically. You are responsible for reviewing them. Continued use of VRConsole after updates means you accept the changes.

4. Eligibility and User Requirements

You may only use VRConsole if it is legal to do so in your country. You must meet the age requirements of the platforms involved (VRChat, Patreon). You are solely responsible for managing your own accounts and credentials.

5. License and Intellectual Property

You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use VRConsole. It is for personal, lawful use only. The software is closed-source and all rights remain with The Verified, LLC. You may not redistribute, reverse engineer, or tamper with the software.

6. Patreon Support and Community Contributions

6.1. Optional Support:

You may choose to support The Verified, LLC’s continued development of VRConsole via Patreon. This support is entirely voluntary and not required to use VRConsole. While supporters may be thanked with early access builds or experimental features, your contributions are donations to support The Verified, LLC as an independent developer, not payments for VRChat functionality.

6.2. No Refunds:

Support via Patreon is subject to Patreon’s own rules. The Verified, LLC does not handle billing and does not offer refunds.

6.3. Payment Disclaimer:

Payments are processed through Patreon and governed by their policies. Your subscription status may be used to personalize your experience or provide early previews, but access to VRConsole is not sold.

6.4. No Sale of VRChat Features:

VRConsole is a personal project, not a commercial product. Any benefit to supporters is a thank-you, not a commercial transaction or monetization of VRChat’s platform.

7. User Responsibilities and Acceptable Use

You must comply with VRChat’s rules while using VRConsole. Do not misuse the software, harass others, or attempt to exploit the system. You are responsible for your login credentials.

8. Software Updates and Third-Party Services

VRConsole connects to Patreon, GitHub, and VRChat for its functionality. These services may change. VRConsole does not track, sell, or share personal data with unrelated third parties.

9. Termination of Access

The Verified, LLC may revoke your access to VRConsole at any time for any reason. You may stop using it at any time. Continued use is not guaranteed.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

VRCONSOLE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Verified, LLC disclaims all warranties and conditions, express or implied, regarding VRConsole and your use of it. This includes, but is not limited to:

Merchantability: We do not warrant that VRConsole is fit for ordinary use or that it will perform in a way that meets merchantability standards.
Fitness for a Particular Purpose: We make no warranty that VRConsole will meet your specific needs or achieve any particular results.
Non-Infringement: We do not guarantee that VRConsole does not violate any intellectual property rights.
Accuracy and Reliability: We do not warrant that information or outputs from VRConsole will be accurate or error-free.
Availability and Uptime: No guarantees are made about uptime, continued access, or VRConsole’s compatibility with VRChat.
Security and Bug-Free Experience: We do not guarantee VRConsole will be secure or free of bugs or vulnerabilities.
No Advice or Information Creates Warranty: Informal guidance from The Verified, LLC or others does not create a warranty.

You assume all risk from using VRConsole. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so some of these disclaimers may not apply to you.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Verified, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages from your use of VRConsole. This includes but is not limited to:

Loss of data, content, or saved configurations.
Loss of revenue, profits, or business opportunities.
Downtime or service interruptions.
Hardware or device damage.
Harm resulting from the actions of third parties.

The Verified, LLC’s total liability will not exceed the greater of $50 or the amount you contributed to support VRConsole in the previous 12 months. Some jurisdictions may not allow all of these limitations.

12. Customer Support

Support is offered on a best-effort basis. The Verified, LLC may respond to inquiries within roughly one week, depending on availability. There is no guaranteed service level. Support may include bug reports, basic troubleshooting, or updates, but The Verified, LLC makes no commitment to fix every issue. Support is not available 24/7.

13. Privacy

VRConsole collects and uses minimal data required for functionality, such as verifying Patreon tier or authenticating your VRChat login. This data is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy. VRConsole does not sell or share personal data with unrelated third parties. Use of VRConsole implies acceptance of the Privacy Policy.

14. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

Any disputes between you and The Verified, LLC must be resolved via binding arbitration, not court, unless an exception applies (e.g., IP disputes or injunctions). You waive any right to join a class action. Arbitration will be held in a location chosen by The Verified, LLC or remotely. If you do not wish to be bound by this clause, you may opt out within 30 days by written notice. Governing law is based on The Verified, LLC’s location.

15. Miscellaneous Provisions

Entire Agreement: These Terms, along with the Privacy Policy, are the full agreement between you and The Verified, LLC.
Severability: If part of these Terms is invalid, the rest still applies.
No Waiver: Failure to enforce a right is not a waiver.
No Assignment: You may not transfer this agreement without permission.
No Third-Party Beneficiaries: These Terms benefit only you and The Verified, LLC.
Independent Contractors: Nothing here creates a partnership or employment relationship.
Contact: Contact The Verified, LLC through official communication channels listed in the documentation or Privacy Policy.
Copyright Claims: If you believe content in VRConsole infringes your rights, contact The Verified, LLC.
Export Compliance: You agree to comply with applicable export control laws.

By using VRConsole, you acknowledge and accept all the above.
